ABC Kids Expo Wrap Up

ABC Kids Expo Wrap Up

ABC Kids Expo has come to a close in Fabulous Las Vegas, and we want to take a look back at some of the show’s highlights. It’s difficult to single out a handful of our favorites from the three-day event (there were hundreds of exhibitors, in addition to several talks and breakout sessions), but I suppose we’ll have to.

One of our favorite exhibitors from the show was Silli Chews. We’d previously written about the importance of having a differentiator at a large trade show such as this one, and we loved their unique approach to networking at the event: offering complimentary donut teethers to anyone who mentioned their recent Baby Maternity Retailer newsletter spot.

We also loved seeing the latest prints and fashions for babies and parents that were on display. Artworks by German illustrator, Swantje Hinrichsen, featured on Rookie Humans’ crib sheets, were equal parts whimsical and soothing.

At the ABC Runway Show, models strutted their stuff in the season’s hottest fashions for moms, babies, and kids. The Liliputi Mama Coat, which was featured, is definitely one to stock for the colder months. With their variety of colors, prints, and options for wearing baby, it would make for a great Christmas or winter baby shower gift.

Speaking of the runway show, Jamie Grayson of the Baby Guy Gear Guide fame was there and live streamed the show on Facebook. Other press that came out to the show included representatives from publications such as Fatherly, Pop Sugar Moms, and Baby Maternity Retailer, of course.

There were also educational segments of the show, such as the seminar on breaking into the China market—not to mention all of the hands-on product demos we saw.

Overall, the ABC Kids Expo was an informative and enriching event with a wide range of opportunities for networking and learning about current trends in the baby and maternity marketplace.

It’s just ended and we’re already looking forward to next year’s ABC Kids Expo!
